We finally went to find out if the Dubai Ski Slope was all it was hyped up to be. "'WE HAD A BALL". Granted, there were only 2 runs and smaller than the real ski slopes, but these were preludes to more exciting skiing holidays to come. Just to be able to snow ski in the middle of Dubai's hot sandy desert conditions is amazing.

Eden, Steve and I were at the ski slope from 8-10pm and left blazing trails on the ski slopes. We left everyone else in our dust.
On one of the trips down, Eden fortunately had the foresight to skillfully jump with his snowboard still on when Steve came ploughing down the mountain forgetting how to slow down.
It was a very close moment, there could have been blood and tears...hehehehe! Someone was told off by the slope marshall for speeding.....I wonder who?????Surprisingly, the ski slope was very well organised. Beginning to end the entire experience was very smooth. Luckily for us there wasn't that many people skiing, so we pretty much had the slopes to ourselves.
Judging by the faces on the boys, I think they had a great time!!!
